Co-CEO & Managing Partner
Mark Broadfoot
Mark spent the early years of his career at BCG working as a management consultant for Fortune 500 clients. His work spanned across the energy, private equity, banking, and food industries, with a focus on digital transformation, operations and business strategy. He then served as the VP of Operations for Tugboat Logic, a software as a service (SaaS) business in the information security space, which was sold to OneTrust in 2021.
Mark has also held roles as an energy trader at TD bank, and as an integrated engineer for Pure Technologies.
Mark was born and raised in Calgary, Canada. He holds a BESc and an HBA from Western University. In his spare time Mark enjoys traveling, racket sports, and listening to business and technology podcasts.
Co-CEO & Managing Partner
Anthony Cortellessa
Anthony spent five years working for the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in the direct private equity group investing on behalf of Canadian pensioners. Anthony then worked in the strategy and finance team at Nextdoor, a publically traded social media company. Anthony was responsible for capital allocation & strategy for the marketing teams across Nextdoor's international markets.
Anthony has also held investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs in New York, and Cormark in Toronto.
Anthony was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He holds an HBA from Western University. In his spare time Anthony is a hobby farmer, and avid outdoorsman. Anthony previously played semi-pro hockey in the Ontario Hockey League.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff Baldwin
Jeff brings over a decade of experience leading residential HVAC and plumbing businesses. Jeff was previously the VP of Western Canada for Right Time Group of Companies, where he led nine branches and a team of over 450.
Earlier in his career, Jeff worked as a Home Comfort Advisor, Operations Manager, Sales Manager and Branch Manager with Reliance Home Comfort in Ontario & BC. Prior to HVAC, he worked in management consulting - focused on operational efficiency & organizational change in the tourism and hospitality sector.
Jeff holds a Master's Degree in International Business from Queen’s University and a BA from the University of Guelph. Jeff is based in Vancouver and spends his spare time skiing, hiking, and exploring.
Head of Marketing
Michal Rutkowski
Michal began his career at MediaCom, part of WPP – a leading global advertising network, developing research and strategy for some of the largest global brands in the Canadian market.
Over nearly a decade, he has built expertise across paid media, SEO, web development, UX, design, and integrated digital and traditional media strategy. He founded Active Business Growth, a boutique marketing agency specialized in growing businesses through data-driven, ROI-focused initiatives.
His approach to marketing combines insight, creativity, consistency, and measurable performance. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and a postgraduate certification in Advertising Account Management. Outside of work, Michal enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Head of Accounting
Annelle Bodnarik
Annelle has been an accounting and operational leader in the HVAC and plumbing industry for over seven years. She was a co-founder of Vetted HVAC, the first business to partner with Rundle Rock Capital. She continues to hold responsibility within the Vetted team, while also leading the accounting team as part of Rundle Rock's shared services.
Annelle brings a combination of technical & detail oriented accounting expertise, combined with boots on the ground operational leadership. Prior to joining the HVAC industry, Annelle worked as a financial controller in the public health system.
Annelle studied business and accounting at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness and spending time with her family.
Head of Technology
Bhavik Jain
Bhavik brings deep technical expertise and a track record of leveraging software and data to drive growth, improve decision-making and streamline operations. At Rundle Rock, Bhavik creates and deploys software, as well as implements AI solutions to help teams work more efficiently and deliver better results.
Before joining Rundle Rock, Bhavik worked at Bespoke Metrics, a construction technology and data analytics company, where he led go-to-market operations. Bhavik also previously held roles at Citi Bank and Tugboat Logic (OneTrust).
Bhavik holds a BTech in Software Engineering from McMaster University and an advanced diploma in Computer Systems Technology from Sheridan College. In his spare time, he enjoys playing volleyball and badminton.
