Anthony and Mark met at the Ivey business school and quickly became close friends and business partners. For 5+ years, the team worked off the side of their desks on entrepreneurial ideas, with the goal of founding a company. Through the early years of their careers, the team realized they were better business builders than business founders, and pivoted to an entrepreneurship through acquisition model.
Anthony and Mark share a natural curiosity for the world around them, and a love for the study of business. They have traveled to over a dozen countries together, and share a passion for the outdoors. Anthony and Mark enjoy cycling together in the summer months, and nordic skiing together in the winter months.

Co-Founder & Principal
Mark Broadfoot
Mark spent the early years of his career at BCG working as a management consultant for Fortune 500 clients. He most recently served as the VP of Operations for Tugboat Logic, a technology business in the information security space. Mark was responsible for centralizing Tugboat's operations, helping scale the business from 50 to 200+ FTE in nine months. Mark was also one of the key executives involved in the sale of Tugboat Logic to OneTrust, which closed in September of 2021.
Mark has also held roles as an energy trader at TD bank, and as an integrated engineer for Pure Technologies.
Mark was born and raised in Calgary, Canada. He holds a BESc and an HBA from Western University. In his spare time Mark enjoys cycling, nordic skiing, and listening to business and technology podcasts.

Anthony Cortellessa
Anthony spent five years working for the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in the direct private equity group. CPPIB is one of the largest asset managers in the world, with over $500B in assets under management. Anthony's focus spanned the industrials, services and consumer verticals. Anthony most recently worked in the strategy and finance team at Nextdoor (NYSE:KIND). Anthony was responsible for capital allocation & strategy in Nextdoor's international markets.
Anthony has also held investement banking roles at Goldman Sachs in New York, and Cormark in Toronto.
Anthony was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He holds an HBA from Western University. In his spare time Anthony is a competitive cyclist, and avid outdoorsman. Anthony previously played semi-pro hockey in the OHL.
